A day in the life of an MMS Merchandiser

The Merchandiser role involves the following:

* Collecting stock from a designated Transit Location
* Driving to numerous store locations within a day
* Delivering stock into store, following all Health & Safety requirements
* Replenishing stock onto shelves and display units
* Placing orders using a hand-held terminal
* Discussing with store managers locations for secondary displays and keeping them informed of promotions and sales information

All candidates should:
* Have the right to work in the UK and a UK bank account, as well as a full UK driving license
* Enjoy driving and a flexible working environment

* Be able to work early mornings and some weekends
* Be physically able to lift, carry and load boxes efficiently
* Be confident using technology and computerised systems
* Be able to manage their own time to meet the required deadlines
* Be keen to surpass sales targets set for them
* Have a positive 'can do' attitude and effective communication skills
* Have previous experience in a merchandising/back-door/delivery role
* Have a flexible approach and a willingness to cover and help out when needed

 

Retail Sales Merchandisers (RSMs)

£14,494 basic salary / £18,000 OTE

Full-time, normally 40 hours per week

Work in set stores in one area

Work towards sales targets to achieve bonus

Company Vehicle and fuel card

20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays in lieu

 

Field Support Merchandisers (FSMs)

£16,797 basic salary

Full-time, normally 40 hours per week as an average over three months

Work across a wide area, covering RSM holidays, absences and vacancies

Work towards Company sales targets

Company Vehicle and fuel card

20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays in lieu

 

Tactical Merchandisers

£8.12 per hour plus mileage

Ad hoc hours – no minimum hours guaranteed

Work across a wide area covering for busy periods and RSM/FSM holidays, absences and vacancies

Own car required
