If so, this is the team for you. We know that there is a desire for more content covering women's football and Reach PLC are now building a dedicated team to cover it.

We're looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content.

This role has the ability to be flexible, this could look like full time, condensed or reduced hours. If you're looking for a flexible role please advise what you're looking for in the application form.

This role is home and hub based linked to our various hubs. We are therefore open to candidates based in the UK.

What will the role involve?

Working with the Women's Football Editor to create brilliant written and video content for our platforms, you will spearhead our live match coverage from press boxes across the country while building relationships with clubs, players and agents.

You will help set the tone for our expanded coverage and champion the game across Reach PLC and to our vast audiences, bringing fans closer to the action. We want you to engage with and listen to the fans to really understand what they want while being prepared to experiment and innovate to grow our audience. This position will have some weekend working so a flexible approach is required.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for an experienced Chief Reporter whether you have covered women's football before or if this is the dream role for you, especially if you feel like your voice isn't heard in traditional media. Sport is for everyone and we want our teams to reflect the diversity of the clubs we cover and the fans who support them.

You will have a good contacts' book with the ability to build relationships and trust, you're passionate for everything about women's football and are ready to carry the baton for the Reach PLC dedicated women's football journalists' team. Ideally you have an NCTJ or equivalent journalism degree and knowledge of media law, we will however consider candidates with relevant time served in the industry.
