We are looking to recruit a full time ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified accountant to join the Finance team as an Assistant Management Accountant. This is a home based role with the current team based in the Glasgow area.
This position is within the Nationals Finance Hub, reporting into the Head of Nationals Finance Hub, and will involve working within the management accounts team to produce weekly and month end accounts, supporting various sites across the Reach business.

Role Responsibilities
- Part of the management accounts team responsible for weekly and month end reporting - includes accruals, prepayments and journal postingsProvide variance analysis covering month end and weekly reportingTracking and reviewing costs against forecast spendAssist with the budgeting and forecasting processBalance sheet reconciliations and analysis of accruals & prepaymentsWork with Systems Lead on SAP BPC reportingAd hoc provision of information as required by the business

- Strong planning and organisational skills and able to manage priorities and workloadInterest in systems and improving finance reports to better meet business requirementsStrong Microsoft office skills and comfortable working with sizeable excel modelsStrong Team PlayerGood communication skills both written and oralAbility to work to strict deadlines
