New recruits stay in our barracks, after this you can live in flats or houses dependent on your needs. If you're married or have a family you will be eligible for Service Families Living Accommodation (SFA).
Recruits will also receive high quality subsidised meals if you live on the Army barracks, and get free food during operations.
You will receive 30 days paid annual leave, bank holidays, plus extra time off when you return from operations.
Free medical and dental care will be provided by the highly trained Army medical team, or provided by private healthcare.
All pension contributions will be paid by the Army. Officers who have served for more than 18 years will qualify for a tax-free lump sum once they turn 40.
When you join the British Army you will never stop learning. Additional training opportunities can fast-track your way to progression and can be used to succeed in civilian careers if you pick a new path.
