IT Service Delivery Manager

Salary: £32,348 - £34,858 per annum

Location: Bridgwater Campus

The IT Service Delivery Manager leads a number of key functions within the IT department that enable the delivery of a high quality service to end users, and to ensure service support and service delivery processes are in place to meet business needs. This position requires that you establish and manage high expectations within the business and drive the IT team to achieve those expectations to a high standard.

Leading all IT functions, the post-holder will be responsible for ensuring that plans and procedures are in place, implementing Key Performance Indicators, analyse work output with a view to continual service delivery improvements, and is responsible for change management processes with a view to ensuring continuous outstanding customer satisfaction, cost minimisation while improving quality of service.

The post-holder will file regular reports to various areas of the College’s management structure on the performance of the team against agreed service standards and service level agreements, customers’ complaints, and suggestions on how to improve on service delivery. You will meet regularly with curriculum and service areas to assess areas for improvement within IT service delivery, reviewing and implementing service level agreements and key performance indicators. The post-holder will also implement processes and procedures to make IT functions more efficient.

You will work with end-users to understand their needs and use your resourcefulness to enable you to identify the appropriate technical innovation to streamline business processes and be a driving force in the College’s digital transformation strategy. You will have sound knowledge of IT and hands on experience of IT service delivery or a similar role, as well as having strong leadership, communication and management skills.
