We manufactured the very first UHV valve and we head some of the most advanced vacuum research, coupling this with over 50 years excelling in the research and scientific industry we have incredible grounding in the needs of our customers.
We are now recruiting for a Sales Engineer to join our Sales and Business Development department on a permanent basis.
Sales Engineer - About the role:
The primary objective of this role is to increase sales to our research customers, using your technical engineering expertise
You will do this through:
* Technically and commercially supporting our external sales channels.
Social Media Networking.
* Creating Sales Collateral.
* Product Managements.
* Creating and delivering webinars and virtual conferencing.
Additionally, you will be responsible for:
* Providing Technical Engineering Support.
* Identifying and securing additional sales channels.
* Preparation of technical presentations and content for social media channels (Power points, LinkedIn, Twitter, You tube, etc).
* Receiving and interpreting the voice of the customer.
* Conducting Price / competitive analysis and initiating design and cost reduction projects where appropriate.
* Attending real conferences.
It is essential that you have:
* Bachelor's in Science, Mechanical Engineering or relevant professional experience will be considered
* Outgoing energetic personality.
* Well organised and structured.
* Passion for people and technology.
* Fluency in both spoken and written English.
* A full drivers' license.
It is desirable that you have:
* Up to 3 years' experience in a technical role preferably with some customer interaction such as Field Service or Applications Engineering.
* Practical experience in the field of scientific equipment or other technical equipment
* Any additional language skills should be highlighted

* Ability to work on own initiative, taking ownership
* High levels of motivation, enthusiasm,
* Good at listening, providing input and implementing decisions
