Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our team based at our mill in Westbury, Wilshire.
We are a leading supplier of Chicken and Turkey products into an impressive range of customers in the UK retail and food service sectors. With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn't been a more exciting time to join us.

Purpose of the role
As a Class 1 Driver operating from Westbury Mill, this role services and supplies feed to a wide range of company and contract farms.
This is hands on Driver role and involves a number of manual processes including lifting equipment in the region of 25kgs.
The typical hours for the role are 48 hours per week Monday - Friday, rotating shifts
Your key responsibilities will include:
Delivering feed safely to farms whilst ensuring health and safety standards are maintained.
Following security requirements of loads.
Monitoring your driver hours and raising any potential breaches.
Ensuring the correct protective equipment is worn.
Working effectively within the time schedules so that all necessary farms can be serviced.
Reporting any vehicle issues.
Presenting a professional image of Avara Foods and to act as a company representative, liaising with site managers as required.What we are looking for:
You will have at least 6 months Class 1 driving experience
You will hold a current CPC and Tacho Card
You will have no more than 9 points on your license
It is essential that you have good knowledge of driver regulations
You will have the ability to be flexible with the business needs and have a positive working attitudeA little about us:
