A North London local authority is recruiting for a interim Energy Officer. You will be joining the council Energy Services Team. This team leads on high profile projects, drives the council's net zero carbon ambition, and delivers a number of services to other parts of the council.
You will have a range of duties, including:
Visiting council buildings, housing estates with communal heating systems and schools to carry out monitoring and targeting audits, producing reports for premises manages on the energy use of their sites and recommendations to reduce consumption
Providing written and verbal advice on energy-related matters to premises managers and other council departments
Analysing energy-related datasets, including weather corrections
Supporting and delivering energy efficiency projects across a range of building types
