Role Overview
As a Cargo Screener at G4S, you are a key part of the Aviation security operation on our customer's site. Using an x-ray machine, you'll be conducting screening and security checks for prohibited items on cargo to be transported, recording and escalating any issues or concerns. You'll also be conducting screening checks on all staff entering and leaving the warehouse, whilst ensuring the safety of everything in your area. With a keen eye and a brilliant way with people, you could look forward to an interesting role where no two days are the same with exciting career opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security and/or aviation experience however it's not essential, as we provide full Aviation Security training.
