Aspion are currently recruiting for a Production Fitter to join a growing manufacturing company producing a product which is really specialist in its own market. They have an excellent client base with plenty of scope for the future so they will be looking to expand premises and develop a strong team of 6 on the shop floor.
This is an exciting time to join a company and move forward with an innovative leaders who respect every employee and invest time in training.
The role is very hands on and involves a lot of physical activity in terms of picking up heavy valves to fit to cylinders safely around the work shop.
The role will also involve using various hand tools to screw bolts on and off as well as testing pressure valves and gages. You will need an excellent eye for detail as the shop floor can be quiet dangerous if you are not aware of your environment and keep to health and safety rules.
You will need a good level of aptitude as you will need to be able to read instructions and place labels correctly on materials as well as measure lengths and widths.
The ideal candidate will have a background form either engineering or any heavy lifting hands on work.
This lifting element of the role is an integral part of the position so is an extremely strong attribute to have when applying.
Hours - 7.45am to 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Salary - Increase in salary through time of service
Benefits - Team bonuses every three months, additional holiday allowance through time of service,
This is temp to perm role based on a 3 month probationary period before the offer of a permeant contract with the company.
