Payroll Manager

GBP28,000 - GBP37,000 + benefits
Our client, an established organisation based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a permanent Payroll Manager to work in a busy bureau. Working with the Partners, you will manage a small payroll team and process numerous payrolls, monthly, fortnightly & weekly.
Duties of the Payroll Manager will include:
* Managing the payroll team of 3 staff
* Managing the processing of over 600 payrolls on a monthly, fortnightly and weekly basis
* Dealing with client queries within a reasonable timeframe and managing client expectations
* Dealing with HMRC and the pensions regulator with any queries arising
* Reviewing, monitoring and improving departmental procedures
* Quality control the work prepared by the team
* Ensuring all payroll information and records are maintained in accordance with requirements
Skills required of the Payroll Manager will include:
* Experience as an efficient and comprehensive Payroll Manager managing a team
* Strong all-round payroll knowledge
* Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and manage expectations, across various levels
