As a Solutions Team Lead you’ll lead and manage a team that is designing, implementing and improving a range of corporate IT and data solutions that underpin the success of the future of the business. You’ll be a key player in their overall IT team which sits within the Business Change portfolio.

They’re looking for someone with technical experience designing, implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 services, with a particular focus on Teams-led Office 365 environments, SharePoint deployment and migration, and Teams/telephony convergence. They’re also looking for someone who can work with and coach their colleagues in the business to make the most of their Microsoft 365 experience, especially the use of Teams and SharePoint. They’d be delighted if you have experience or familiarity with contact centre service integration, the Microsoft Power platform, Microsoft data platform, or Microsoft Azure more widely.

You’ll have delivery experience, leading or supporting these functional activities:

Solution specification and design, and general procurement activities
Project planning, project management and progress reporting
Technical leadership of both direct reports and wider cross-functional teams, including mixed-discipline teams combining subject matter experts and practitioners, project management and technical functions
Delivering change in a lightweight ITIL-type environment
Delivering business value through innovation across the Microsoft platform
Taking the Microsoft platform technologies and getting business value from them, working with business users to take them on the digital journey

You’ll work closely with colleagues in the wider IT and Business Change teams, and across the organisation, through a period of significant change. You’ll be able to embrace a demanding workload, managing several projects at once to agreed high standards and responding to changing priorities effectively.

This role has line-management responsibility, so you’ll be able to highlight your management experience, or show them how you’re ready to grow into that role.
