HGV Class 2 Delivery Driver

We are looking for an HGV driver to support the Waste Management function of CWM, reporting to the General Services Manager.

To receive routing instructions from the General Services Manager/Waste Manager, carrying out collections efficiently, in accordance with the relevant legislation in force and in the best interests of our Tenants.

Prepare either digital or manual back up Tachograph as required by law and ensure that hours and working arrangements are within legal limits.

Take all necessary precautions for the safety of people, vehicles and plant equipment as per Health and Safety legislation.

Carry out driver's maintenance effectively at the correct intervals and report all vehicle equipment/container faults immediately via the approved system.

To record collections and keep effective computerised records.

To work positively and collaboratively with colleagues and be polite and courteous to all members of the public whilst carrying out duties.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team to deliver and collect waste commodities.

Ensure waste collection vehicles are presented in pristine condition during the working day...... click apply for full job details
