Insect Farm Operative
My client is looking for a insect farm operative to work on their mini insect farms around Cambridge, you will provide technical and practical on farm support. This will be full time permanent work Monday to Friday.
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay: GBP10ph
Duties Include:
Working with larvae and insects,
Seedstock delivery, delivery of additives,
Seeding of new trays,
Cleaning the containers (feed area splatters, escapees etc.),
General inspection & troubleshooting
Essential skills and qualifications
To be a practical, hands-on type person who enjoys interacting with farmers and being on farms
Don't mind maggots
Clean UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills
Keen and excited to Learn
