Class 1 Swadlincote

Siamo Recruitment is looking for Class 1 Drivers for our prestigious client based in Swadlincote who one of the main distributers of goods for the Constructor Industry in the UK.

Job Description

• Trunking runs delivering goods between sites around the UK
  
  
• Operating Class 1 vehicles with (Curtain sided trailers)
  
  
• No handballing involved.
  
  
• Drivers will be required to strap and pull the curtain back on the trailer.
  
  
• Mon to Fri - (with weekend shifts available)
  
  
• Both Day & Nights shifts

• Average shift length is 12 hours.
  
  
• 2-3 drops per shift
  
  
• Making sure load is secure before setting off.
  
  
• General Vehicle checks before and after shift.

Rates of Pay:

LTD
GBP14.00 - AM - (Mon to Fri)
GBP15.00 - NIGHT - (Mon to Fri)

GBP16.00 - SAT AM
GBP17.00 - SAT PM

GBP18.50 - SUN AM
GBP19.50 - SUN PM

Driver Requirements

• Overall, excellent environment to work in and the team are very friendly.
  
  
• Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years UK experience driving a Class 1 vehicle.
  
  
• A valid DQC & Digital Tachograph Card.
  
  
• No more than 3 points on the licence, no DD, DR, CD, IN.
  
  
• Good understanding of English is Essential.
