Azure Data Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for an Azure Data Engineer, to support a market leading engineering company, and work on a project to establish a highly sophisticated Enterprise Data Warehouse.

This is very much a hands on role, where you will be required to utilize your expertise within Microsoft's SQL Azure/Data Factory/PowerBI/PowerApps platforms, to play a pivotal part in architecting, developing, managing and supporting the Enterprise Data Warehouse.

This is a business-critical project, and you will be play a key role in both the delivery and maintenance of the Data Warehouse.

Key Experience:

*Strong background in Data Engineering and Architecture.
*Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, PowerApps and Power BI.
*Strong familiarity of the Azure DevOps toolset
*Proven track record of implementing end-to-end data solutions and ELT/ETL pipeline development skills.
*Maintain and optimize the Data Warehouse and Data Lake/Data Brick solutions to maximize performance.
*Experience working with solutions in the Cloud specifically Microsoft's Azure platform.
*Strong SQL experience both within the SQL Azure space and on prem.

The role will be fully remote in initially, then circa 1 day every week or so on site for workshops etc - main offices are in Manchester and Berkshire.
