HGV Class 1 Driver

Drivers Direct Recruitment are now looking for class 1 drivers for our new client in the Castle Donington Area.
We are now looking for class 1 drivers for Day, Night and Weekend shifts as we have start times around the 24 hour clock. You will be working for the leading parcel distribution company in the country and will be required to trunk loads to company depots and RDC's across the country.
All interested applicants will have to undergo a client assessment before being accepted onto the role. You will also need to have been assessed in a blue chip company within the last 12 months.
During this assessment you will have your card checked for infringements. If you have too many you will not be accepted. You will also need a long sleeve Hi Viz for this position.
This work is well sort after and is ongoing all year round. Rates of pay are as follows
First 13 Weeks (or up to the 02nd November when Xmas parity rate kicks in)
Days: GBP13.50 per hourOvertime after 8: GBP15 per hour
Nights: GBP14.50 per hourOvertime: GBP17.50 per hour
Saturday Days: GBP14.50Saturday Nights: GBP15
Sunday Days: GBP17Sunday Nights: GBP17.50
Parity pay/Xmas rate
Dawn: GBP20 per hour/ GBP22 overtime after 8 hours
Days: GBP19 per hour/ GBP22 overtime after 8 hours
Early (05:00) GBP19 per hour/ GBP22 Overtime after 8 hours
Early (05:30) GBP19 per hour/GBP22 Overtime after 8 hours
Evening: GBP19.50 Per hour / GBP22 Overtime after 8 hours
Lates: GBP20 per hour/ GBP22 overtime after 8 hours
