We are looking for a Site Support Technician to be based on site at our Wokingham facility. You will be based within the Agrochemicals and Biocides Residues team but will provide support across the whole business. This junior level role will involve preparing a variety of specimens including but not limited to fruit, vegetables, soil and animal tissue. The work will be straightforward and directed by senior personnel but there is an expectation that the work will be carried out competently and with a high degree of independence. The jobholder may also be required to undertake routine facility support tasks and may also be required to assist in the laboratory to carry out tasks such as cleaning glassware and pre-weighing samples under supervision. The role involves physical work including heavy lifting and working in cold temperatures.

In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Site Support Supervisor as well as Study Directors and analytical staff to ensure that project targets are achieved within agreed timelines. The majority of work will be carried out in a regulatory environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills are required along with great attention to detail.

This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, ideally 7.45 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

Although there are no specific qualifications required for this role, candidates must be numerate, fluent in written and spoken English, and be able to work in a team.
