We are recruiting on behalf of a hugely successful company located in the heart of Hebden Bridge that has a global workforce. The business has an amazing portfolio of products that are so hot that they are selling very fast through the many ecommerce channels that they use to sell their products. T

This year has been the their biggest yet and as part of their growth strategy they are now seeking an experienced Inventory Planner to join the business. This is the perfect opportunity for a fast paced and driven individual that wants to grow with such an amazing company with a great culture.

THE INVENTORY PLANNER ROLE:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager and working closely with the Ecommerce team you'll be responsible for the inventory planning.
Using modern computer software to track goods from origin to delivery
Counting and tracking inventory across multiple locations
Anticipating stock demands based on current and future business functions
Analyzing and anticipating market trends for the best time to purchase inventory
Creating inventory reports and presenting suggestions to the Supply Chain Manager
Ensuring the business has a steady flow of stock
Suggesting changes to inventory warehousing to meet increased or reduced demand
Ensure you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain
Assist Supply Chain Manager in improving the overall supply chain performance, looking for any possible innovations to the process
Manage and minimise the operational risks that could affect or interrupt the supply chainTHE PERSON:

Must have previous experience within managing inventory/stock/supply chain or similar, within an ecommerce product based business.
Highly organised with excellent planning skills
Excellent attention to detail with a logical and systematic approach to work
Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines
The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally
Team player
Experience of working in fast paced environments
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong IT literacy, skills in Googlesheets and the ability to handle electronic data
An understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chainDesirable

Experience with merchandising and working with Marketing team to push promotions globally and any lines which may be overstocked
Experience with working with FBA Amazon and Vendor Central Amazon (retail)TO APPLY:
