Manager for a care and nursing agency

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our care and nursing agency in Warrington.
As the Manager, you are responsible for the overall management of the day-to-day running and managing of the agency. We are looking for a talented manager with a proven track record who will be able to grow the service further.

JOB : Manager for a care and nursing agency

JOB PURPOSE:
• Responsible for the development of the agency by creating new opportunities and securing new contracts with private hospitals, care homes so as to grow the business.
• To grow and manage the day to day running of the agency.
BASED AT: Warrington

Monday to Friday 9.00 to 5.00
SALLARY : 25,000 per annum

3 month contract with the potential to go permanent

As a care agency Manager you will be responsible for:
• Managing day to day running of the business
• Securing new contract to grow the business.
• Marketing, Promotion and administering office controls.
• Maintaining full and accurate records and reporting system.
• Ensuring that all services are complaint with relevant legislation.
• To develop and ensure the implementation and operation of appropriate quality control system and processes including:
• Safeguarding and Protection requirements.
• Health and Safety requirement.
• Policies and Procedures
• Risk assessment.

• To interview and employ new staff.
• To undertake staff appraisals and encourage personal and professional development of staff.
• To supervise the induction of all new staff.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Having strong leadership and management experience with at least 2 years in a similar position.
• Must hold a suitable qualification at management level .At least NVQ level 4
• Excellent use of IT/Telephone skills.
• A full driving licence, valid to drive in the UK.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
