English Teacher - October Start **
Are you a qualified English teacher, who strives to develop your students with a lifelong enthusiasm for language, literature and learning?

In partnership with a popular north Worcestershire secondary school, Academics are recruiting a dynamic teacher of English to complement their strong English department. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dedicated and friendly team in a supportive school.
The successful English teacher will:
Demonstrate a real passion for English and be creative in their approach to planning, teaching and learning
Have a flair for delivering engaging and vibrant lessons that enthuses and motivates all learners to flourish and achieve their full potential
Be versatile and have strong KS3 KS4 English subject knowledge
Have an excellent command of the classroom, high expectations and the expertise to effectively manage behaviour
The Essentials: An experienced teacher of English or newly qualified English teacher (NQT) who:
Is eligible to work in the UK
holds a UK teaching qualification: qualified teacher status (QTS), qualified teacher learning and skills (QTLS) or further education (FE)
has UK school English teaching experience - secondary key stage 3 (KS3) and key stage 4 (KS4). The ability to teach English with drama or media studies would be advantageous but not essential
Possesses a current enhanced DBS certificate that is registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for a new one
