As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:
- Scanning items and sorting into cages
- Securing packages into cages safely to minimise movement in transit
- Reading pick labels accurately to ensure goods are scanned into correct cage
- You will be on your feet all shift and involves lots of walking and lifting
- Large items are assisted with a 'two person lift'
- Work to timed deadlines
- FULL TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED.
Working 39hrs per week, a variety of shifts depending on which department you work
Warehouse Operative shifts are Monday to Friday (earlier finishes on Fridays)
-Static shift: 7am-3.30pm/7am-3pm
- Static shift: 2.30pm-11pm/2pm-10pm
- Static Nights: 9pm-6am (Sun - Thurs & Mon - Fri)
- Rotational 5am-1.30pm/1.30pm-10pm
- Rotational 6am-2.30pm/2.30pm-11pm
The pay rates for a Warehouse Operative are:
- Early shift - Standard GBP8.72 p/hr
- Late shift - Averages GBP9.42 p/hr
- Nights - Standard GBP10.48 p/hr
After 12 weeks your pay rate will rise to:
-Early shift - Standard GBP9.74 p/hr
