Window Fabricator

We are looking for semi skilled operatives for Window Fabrication roles in Watford.This company design, manufacture and construct high quality windows and doors.Role OverviewAs an important part of the team in the workshop you will be working from design drawings to cut and fabricate windows and doors. This will involve using automated machinery (after training) and hands on assembly work. You will also assist in packaging and loading goods ready for delivery as well as unloading and checking incoming deliveries.Experience in a similar industry or manufacturing facility would be advantageous, although not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate with practical abilities, who shows a keen attitude to learn and to work hard.Main Duties and Responsibilities •Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and appropriate Risk Assessments •Safely operating various machinery (after training) •Undertaking assembly work of windows and doors utilising hand power tools and other tools •Handling materials and finished products in line with manual handling procedures •Packing and loading of finished products and accessories ready for site deliveries and export •Unloading and checking of incoming deliveries •Attending sites to carry out remedial work, if required •Overtime may be offered on occasion to meet business demands in busy periodsKey Skills •Practical skills. •Keen to work. •Good team player. •Attention to detail and takes pride in own work.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: GBP9.00 - GBP12...... click apply for full job details
