Initially a 12 month contract
Techniche are working with a Global Engineering Technology organisation based in Dorset. We are supporting them with appointing an Orders & Parts Coordinator on an initial 6 - 12 month contract.
This role will interview and appoint immediately during the COVID19 crisis. Interviews will take place via telephone and video conference (Skype or Zoom). IT equipment and training will then be provided remotely.
This role will be responsible for executing spares orders, supporting the sales team and working with the supply chain and export departments.
Skills & Experience required:
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications and any form of company database or ordering / stock / ERP / MRP system
* Experience with the sale of goods to international customers
* Good attention to detail & ability to communicate at all levels
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Ensure accurate and timely conversion of spares quotes
* Prepare and Issue quotations, spares list and orders to customers in a timely manner having due regard to commercial terms, pricing and lead times in line with department and company procedures and processes.
* Issue quotations to customers in a timely fashion, focusing on the customer's requirements, commercial terms, pricing and delivery.
* Ensure that the supply chain has access to all necessary product information and technical detail to allow them to procure the goods and all lead times are realistic.
* Provide information and detail to the shipping and accounts department.
* Identify new business opportunities such as burner replacement, product upgrades and service requirements with existing and new customers.
* To improve customer relationship and work to develop long term relationships.
* Build effective working relationships with Sales, Purchasing and Export teams to ensure timely completion of orders and ensure order executions are performed in line with company and department policies and procedures.

* Maintain a good working knowledge of the company's ERP systems
