Baltic Apprenticeships are delighted to be working in partnership with Watts Recruitment Limited, the largest exclusive lead generation company within the UK.
Due to continued success, Watts Recruitment Limited are currently looking to expand their team through the addition of a new Software Development Apprentice at their office in Norwich.
Working in a team of 5, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to be involved in developing software, working on internal systems & external website could this be the role to for you. The perfect candidate will be self-motivated and eager to develop themselves in the world of Software Development.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Write well designed, testable efficient code
- Building new internal software for management
- Working with the team to deliver new features for internal systems & external websites
- Learning about the business to incorporate new ideas within some of your development and allow the company to strive forward in technology
- Scoping out new projects and discussing objectives with technical and non-technical colleagues
Full training and support will be provided throughout your apprenticeship by both Baltic Apprenticeships and Watts Recruitment Limited.
Desired Qualities, Skills & Knowledge:
- Self-motivated & well organised
- Knowledge of coding languages i.e. PHP, HTML, CSS, MySQL
- Someone that wants to learn
- Passionate about coding
- Confident personality
- Grade 4/C GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English is required for the role
Salary, Hours & Holidays:
- GBP6,905.60 per annum (Upon passing probation your salary will increase to GBP15,591.68 per annum)
- Monday to Thursday (9.00am - 6:00pm)
- 32 hours per week
- 1-hour lunch break
- 20 days annual-leave entitlement (plus bank holidays)
There are career progression opportunities available upon completion of the programme. You, along with your employer, may decide to progress into a full-time Marketing position with the business.
