Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit an Electrical Design Engineer for a market leading engineering company who specialise in electrical power systems. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who have achieved a record year in 2019 and have a full order book for next year and beyond. They are part of a wider group, annual turnover is over GBP790m!

THE ROLE:
As an Electrical Design Engineer you will be required to:

* Create designs for electrical switch boards and control panels from concept through to the final product
* Make modifications to existing designs to meet requirements of bespoke products.
* Provide Technical Support for both customers and colleagues
* Project Management of each job - design, technical, purchasing, quality, after care support and testing
* Utilise experience and knowledge to design and implement new innovative solutions

THE CANDIDATE:
The ideal Electrical Design Engineer:

* Degree educated or HNC in Electrical Engineering
* Understanding of switchgears and control panels
* Experience of test procedures, methods and equipment
* Well versed with AutoCAD
* Working knowledge of PLC Software (Mitsubishi, Moeller, Edict) beneficial
* Excellent communicator across all levels
