About our Client

Our client is a second-year criminology student studying her degree at the De Montford University Leicester. She has a diagnosis of cerebral palsy. Her passion for criminology began when the she initially explored it within her psychology A level course and has been hooked ever since.

With a happy and positive demeanour as well as a good sense of humour, our client enjoys going out to socialise and meet up with friends and family. Other interests include watching reality TV/documentaries, getting lost in a good book and being social on social media. She has an eclectic taste in music from rock to pop, she is often described as easy going and goes with the flow.


About the Job

You will provide our client's academic support and health and social care. This is also a "flat mate" type of role which goes far beyond simply care work, and includes all the fun things you'd expect a first-year university student to be doing, like getting out and about to see friends, going to parties, the cinema, going on holiday and much more!


Weekly live-in rota: 7 days on and 7 days off or similar arrangement.

Live-in PA's use the flexible working arrangements that come with the week on/week off set up, to travel abroad or visit friends throughout the year. The combination of this, with the knowledge that they are having a positive, daily impact on someone's life, and the relaxed, inclusive working environment makes this a unique and exciting opportunity.

Care experience is not required as full training in our client's particular requirements will be provided.

Free accommodation in halls is provided when you are on shift.

You must hold a full clean UK driving licence as you will be driving our client's adapted car.


Start Date: October 2020

Pay & Benefits

GBP840 per week worked.

Free accommodation and bills when on shift.

5.6 week's holiday pro rata.


About You

You are unlikely to have experience in every aspect of our client's care therefore full training in her particular needs is provided.

You will need: -

?? To be physically fit, calm, patient and caring

?? Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative

?? To have a good sense of humour

?? A mature and responsible attitude

?? Good communication skills

?? To be fluent in English.

?? To be clean and tidy in both your appearance and ways.

?? To be a non-smoker

?? A full clean UK driving licence
