Application Tester- 25k-30k- Stoke on Trent
We are currently recruiting for an Application Tester to join a growing IT department within a rapidly expanding organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for an adaptable individual who thrives off a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities
Unit testing of in-house developed software applications and websites/web-based applications
Full end-to-end pre-release and UAT testing of in-house developed software applications and websites/web-based applications
Creation of application documentation in all formats
Management of change and issue logging system
End-user training and post-sales support (local and remote)
First-line end-user support on in-house developed applications ad websites/web-based applications
Any other tasks deemed necessary to support business needs and/or cover for colleagues
Key Skills Needed
Solid experience in developing and deploying structured application testing methodology
Structured and solution-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving skills
Diligent and organised with a forensic level of attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including in a written format
Experience of training is preferred but not as essential as being friendly, confident, professional, and articulate at all levels.
