Role scope:

Ensuring a positive and efficient customer experience for all enquiries into the business related to activities around the order, delivery, product support and payment of services.Role requirements:

First port of call for all telephone and email enquiries into the business - either guiding and advising directly, or escalating to the relevant technical team through accurate validation of the call

Liaison with customer to provide accurate and timely updates on status of their order, delays, reschedules and returns, pricing and availability

Identify sales opportunities and pass to technical sales team

Work cohesively with other areas of the business to resolve any issues affecting speed or accuracy of delivery

Any ad hoc administration that arises such as pulling data from the database, analysis of stock availability, pricing, shipments and delays - flagging issues to senior teamPerson specification:

A minimum of 2 years customer service support experience is essential, ideally this will be from a scientific or technical environment

Excellent command of written and verbal English

Concise, articulate communication skills and a willingness to assimilate new technical terminology
