Are you an experienced mechanical designer with a minimum of 2 years of experience and an excellent knowledge working of Solid Works and fabrication?

Do you want to work for a progressive and growing company located in a thriving market town in beautiful North Norfolk?

With an ever increasing range of exciting new work your overall responsibilities duties will include:

• Detailing of custom solutions to match order
• Preparing customer GA CAD Drawings for approval
• Detailing manufacturing drawings to fulfil the GA.
• Creation of BOMs for special products and procurement as required
• Liaison with suppliers for parts manufacture for costs and with Workshop Supervisor for the organisation of Production and products on time to a high standard.
• Assembly, as required, to enable review the design and manufacture of parts and subsequent improvement.

The successful candidate will:

• Be strong in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software
• Understand machining and fabrication
• Be conceptually good and offer solutions that can be manufactured economically and easily assembled
• Be able and quick to produce detailed manufacturing drawings
• Be able to communicate with rest of team and workshop
