The post of Digital Technical Assistant is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the college's digital vision, through supporting learners to access the college's IT network and range of resources.

In this role you will utilise a good understanding of digital learning technology and G Suite whilst working alongside staff and students in the classroom. This will include supporting learners to reset passwords, access WiFi log-ins, join Google classrooms and use digital technology to promote greater levels of independent learning.

You will work closely with the RNN Group's IT Services Department to identify specific technology and infrastructure issues that require more advanced technical support.

In addition, you will collaborate with the Digital Innovation Assistant in the design, testing and implementation of digital resources and tools.

This is a unique opportunity and one where you will be instrumental in achieving the digital vision of the organisation. You will be self-motivated, driven and able to communicate and translate technical support ideas and practices across a range of curriculum subjects and levels.

Have you got what it takes?

You will need to have relevant experience, either paid or voluntary in a work environment or at school/college.

You will also hold a digital technology related qualification, preferably in digital learning or digital content. Ideally you will have worked with or be competent in the use of Microsoft 365 and Google G Suite applications and programmes.

As this is a role which will be working alongside our staff and students, you will need to be a good communicator and able to effectively problem solve too.
