Geography Teacher

Geography Teacher - Key Stage 3, 4 & 5

A Secondary school in the heart of Hertfordshire has an immediate need for an experienced or NQT of Geography to start January 2021.

Applications are welcomed from either experienced or newly qualified Geography teachers.

You will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and you will need to be confident in teaching Geography across Key Stage 3 & 4 and have experience in, or be willing to teach up to KS5, as well as being able to work as part of a teaching team and in line with their strategies and policies. You must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher, and have experience and up to date knowledge of the UK Curriculum.

To be considered for this Geography teacher job you must have the following:

- Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE or Cert Ed
- Proven Teaching Experience within the last 2 years
- Willingness to promote Learning
- Strong Classroom Management Skills
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- NQT's or Experienced Teacher
