Site Manager

5 Month Contract on Large Fitout in Edinburgh. Commencing in 3 weeks with excellent builder.

Your new company
Our client are a large construction company with multiple different brands servicing the broad construction industry in the United Kingdom. Having just won a large fitout project in Edinburgh they are seeking to employ an experienced site manager to assist them in its delivery.

Your new role
As site manager you will be reporting to a Senior Site Manager running this large fitout. Your role will be very much operationally focused supporting the Senior Site Manager in the running of the project. From organising the subcontractors onsite to managing health and safety and inductions on a busy high profile project you will be key part of the site delivery team. This role is on large fitout with a challenging program so you will be expected to work for a duration of 22 weeks with 12 hour days Monday to Friday.

What you'll need to succeed
Our client are keen to get the right fit with their existing team. You will have a strong fitout construction background along with being fully up to date with your SMSTS and first aid qualifications. You will have worked on busy fitout projects previously with a positive track record and references who will back this up. Ideally you will be from a trade background but our client are open to this. A strong work ethic along with the ability do a long hours for a defined time period will see you succeed on this project.

What you'll get in return
Our client are a large contractor with a national footprint and if you impress them on this initial 5 month contract there could be future work. This is a great opportunity for a good fitout supervisor to earn a good hourly rate on a long term contract with the opportunity to do long hours.
