Main Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this role is to provide the administrative support to the commercial vehicle branch manager/ fleet support / central reservations. This role is varied with the main emphasis being on administering fleet and controlling customer's short-term rental requirements.

The key day-to-day responsibilities of this role include:

• Booking and off hiring vehicles to cover all aspects of vehicle hire on our in-house systems.

• Ensure vehicles are available and ready for hire as and when required.

• Review current hires and communicating findings to clients regarding extensions and terminations of hire periods (including company vehicles and external hires)

• Provide / prompt resolution of all internal and external queries via telephone and emails.

• Maintain accurate records

• Run daily reports

• Invoicing

• Route planning

Key Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong IT skills

• Strong logistics understanding and be able to demonstrate it within the branch

• Geographical knowledge.

• Competent user of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel

• Strong analytical skills

• Excellent time management

• Excellent telephone manner

• High levels of accuracy and attention to detail

• Excellent customer service skills

Job Title: Hire and Logistic Administrator

Salary: GBP20,000-GBP22,000 per annum

Location: Stevenage Norton Road

Working Hours: Full time-Monday to Friday 42.5 hours, On Rota Saturday 9-1
