Your new role
As Assistant Site Manager you will be reporting to the Senior Site Manager on a large apartment development in the middle of Edinburgh. This project is aimed right at the top end of the premium residential market and it will challenge and stimulate the site team to produce a product in line with the markets expectations. Working within the site team you will take responsibility for either a package of internal fitout works or a particular area of this project and you will be directly responsible for the delivery of this area of works. From managing your team of subcontractors to liaising with external project stakeholders( architect, engineers, Council etc) you will play a pivotal role in the success or failure of this project.

What you'll need to succeed

Our client expect their assistant site managers to have completed a relevant trade and to have already worked in a supervisory position with a recognised builder. You must have strong attention to detail and have a drive to work on city centre projects which will challenge ,stimulate and motivate you. This project will be a busy demanding work environment and the successful candidate must have an ambition to work on large complex projects rather than low rise volume house building projects.
