We are working with a Well established Construction, Scaffolding, Infrastructure and Bricklaying organisation who are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their organisation in the Hertfordshire area.
The company have been victims of their own success and have an excellent reputation within the area. They are looking for someone who can work in their own initiative and is looking for long term career development with the business.
The suitable applicant may be coming from an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role and looking for progression into a full Quantity Surveying position, or someone who is in a Quantity Surveying post looking for a new challenge.
- Ensure all Subcontractors are aware of HSEQ obligations;
- Ensure all Subcontractors have the appropriately qualified workforce;
- Experience of JCT and NEC Contracts
- Previous residential and main contract experience
- Produce and update Subcontract Procurement Schedule;
- Lead Sub-Contract procurement;
- Complete letting sheets;
- Work with Main Contractors and end client developers
- Ensure signed order in place prior to commencement of work;
- Managing subcontractor accounts, interim payments, notices, final accounts, etc;
- Preparing monthly subcontract liabilities and subcontract section of cost plan;
- Monitoring against 'No' unauthorised and un-reconciled increases in subcontracts;
- Prepare and agree monthly payment applications;
- Monitor payments to ensure we get paid and pay on time;
- Lead management and reporting of the WIP and cash;
- Produce cash forecasts;
- Manage Accrual Report;
- Producing regular and accurate financial reporting and Financial section of Project Review;
- Manage and evaluate risk & opportunity;
- Identifying changes
- Previous experience within the Construction sector.
