Prospero teaching in Brighton are working alongside this exceptional secondary school in Eastbourne and they are looking to appoint a strong Geography teacher to join their cohort in January 2021.

Our client school has a full time position available for a Geography teacher from January 2021. This larger than average secondary school is based in Eastbourne and is easily accessible with on site car parking.
The Humanities department is a supportive environment that work together to ensure that best practice is shared. You'll be working under a well established head of department who has been with the school for over 6 years.
Pupils in this school are keen to learn and engage and you will be given the chance to work with some really bright stars!
Supply Teacher Contract/Position Details
Location - Eastbourne, East Sussex
Position - Geography Teacher

Minimum rate of pay - GBP130 per day
Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)
Supply Teacher Experience, Training and Qualifications
It is essential that you have QTS and experience working in a Secondary school.
You will need to have taught in secondary schools either in a permanent or supply cover role, or on teaching placement if you are an NQT.
Up to date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
Strong Behaviour Management skills are a must.
To be eligible for any teaching job with Prospero Teaching, you must;
Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with online update service or be willing to process a new application.
Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
Provide two professional child related references.
