Commercial Administrator (Part Time)

The Role:
A part time vacancy exists within the Commercial Team for our client based in Hartlepool.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager and working alongside our senior commercial administrator the successful candidate will need to be capable of working to high standards and tight deadlines in a demanding environment.

The role is 18.75 hours per week over 5 days with a flexible requirement to cover holidays.

Role duties:
Daily commercial costing and pricing along with the preparation of quotations
Involvement with commercial tenders for existing customer and new business
Liaising with all internal and external departments including other plants
Applying price changes & generation of price lists
Commercial system maintenance
Adherence to commercial pricing policy and KPIs
Liaising with external sales/technical departments on business improvement projects/analysis
Ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:
Self motivated & Organised
The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
A good knowledge of Microsoft office packages in particular strong Excel skills, SAP experience would be advantageous
Excellent numeracy skills & logical thought process
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
Proactive & flexible approach combined with an excellent work ethic
Educated to A level - minimum
Languages beneficial (particularly Spanish)
