This school is a vibrant, pioneering and successful comprehensive school based in Caerphilly. The school has over 1200 pupils including a sixth form. They are a school that has been rated by ESTYN as 'good with many outstanding features'. This is a school with an excellent structure, facilities. The school are currently recruiting for a Welsh speaking teacher until half term initially with likelihood of the role continuing long term.

Your new role
You will be responsible for teaching a timetable from KS3 to A level, full-time, Monday to Friday. Your role will include full teaching responsibilities including planning and preparation of lessons, marking, assessment, attending parents' evenings and pastoral responsibilities for a form class.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fluent welsh speaker and a qualified teacher registered with the Education Workforce Council. You will have previous experience of teaching within a secondary school. You will have a passion for learning, helping pupils to achieve results and strong relationship building skills with both pupils and staff. You will also have strong classroom management skills. You share a commitment to safeguarding and hold a DBS check.
