Financial Planning Administrator

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for a reputable wealth planning firm as IFA Administrator within the New Business team. Within the role you would have exposure to whole of market pensions, investments and protection portfolios.

The vacancy has come about due to company expansion and a very busy workload within the existing team.

The key role accountabilities will be as follows:

• Answer the telephone and handle enquiries from clients, providers, regulators and the public.
• Liaise with providers by telephone and email correspondence in relation to new and existing business.
• Obtaining new business illustrations and basic valuations.
• Process new business (online and by post) and monitor applications etc. to completion.
• Administer and generate business related correspondence to clients, product providers etc.
• Manage workflow, pipeline and diary entries to an efficient standard, in line with expectations.
• Provide typing support to the directors and other regulated employees.
• Carry out general office duties, as required i.e. stationery and equipment supplies.
• Any other duties as requested by senior management.
• General pensions and investment administration as needed supporting advisers and paraplanning team alike.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience working within a regulated financial services company in a sales support or administrative capacity within an IFA practice. You will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for details. You will ideally have experience in new business processing to be considered for this role. Excellent Microsoft Office knowledge is a must as is attention to detail.
