Our client is a well-established organisation in the Ironmongery / Window & Door Hardware industry.
The company offer a wide range of Ironmongery, Door Hardware, Door Handles, Window Handles, Hinges, Locks / Lock Cylinders, Multipoint Locks, Letterboxes, Door Knock-ers, Panic Hardware into Fabricators, Distributors, Installers, Architectural Ironmongers and Retail / Distribution Channels throughout the UK.
As part of the company's growth plans - the company are now actively looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager to cover South East England
Candidates must have experience in the Door Hardware / Ironmongery industry - ideally with a knowledge of the Fire Door market - have a strong background in generating & winning new business / revenue and be based in / around South East England / Home Counties. Candidate will be highly organised, hardworking, prepared to work until the job is complete and looking to join a very well regarded company within the Ironmongery industry.
Principal Responsibilities / Knowledge / Experience
1. Minimum 3 years of proven sales success in the Ironmongery / Door Hardware industry.
2. Sales / Business Development experience - essential.
3. Maintain a professional relationship with customers and ensure they are kept satisfied with the company's services.
4. Effective management of existing customers / clients - encouraging increased spend / revenue where possible.
5. Prompt and accurate reporting to the Board of Directors as required.
6. Computer literate.
