8/9 hours per week / part time Charity Accountant role
Your new company
A charitable foundation who are part of a major Huddersfield institution.
Your new role
You will be responsible for producing and presenting the monthly management accounts and commentary.
Report & analyse expenditure on projects, liaising with project managers to ensure they understand the current financial position of their projects and assist with forecasting of expenditure; Assist project managers with grant applications and returns.Support the Foundation CEO to create a budget model.
Liaise with project managers and the Foundation CEO to produce the annual budget for the charity;
Support the production of the statutory accounts and the successful completion of independent review/audit.
File accounts with Companies House and the Charities Commission as required;
Ensure that the Foundation operates in line with the Club's financial policies and procedures, and tailor any guidance specifically for the Foundation where appropriate and necessary;
Attend regular team and company meetings, reporting key performance achievements and areas for improvement; and,
Support the Foundation CEO with the development and review of financial process and policies.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant with charity sector experience
