Accounts Semi Senior/ Senior

Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are currently working with a highly reputable firm of chartered accountants in Staffordshire who are seeking a Business Serivces/ Accounts Semi Senior or Senior to jon their team.

The ideal candidate may be AAT Qualified, ACA or ACCA qualified/ part qualified or qualified-by-experience from a practice background.

You will be experienced in the preparation of year end statutory accounts, management accounts, tax compliance dealing with client queries and may have experience of reviewing the work of junior staff.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Corporation tax computations
Preparation of management accounts
Preparation/ review of VAT returns & bookkeeping
Liaising with HMRC
Visiting clients at their premises
Dealing with client queries

Requirements:

ACA/ ACCA Qualified/ Part Qualified
AAT Qualified/ Student/ QBE also considered
Practice experience is essential
