Production Planner - Walsall - Manufacturing - GBP20,000 to GBP25,000 p.a
Customer coordinator, planner, planning, customer accounts coordinator, capacity planner,
A Production Planner is required to join a well established and successful engineering and production company based in Walsall.
Key responsibilities
Coordinating orders from point of receipt to production
Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
Acknowledging customer orders and keeping the customer updated with any changes
Determining manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
Schedule shift according to production needs
Communicating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met
Experience required
Appropriate experience in a high pressure, rapidly changing manufacturing environment is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work within a team to achieve challenging targets
Continually strive for excellence of quality and must have the correct mind-set to grasp issues surrounding manufacturing processes
Lead time focused to successfully and reliably meet targets and deadlines
A mind-set attuned to continuous improvement
