Job Title: Specification Sales Manager- Drainage, Plumbing & Heating
Industry Sector: Below ground drainage, above ground drainage, hot and cold water plastic plumbing, underfloor heating, private and social housing developers, local authorities, architects, design consultants, main contractors, groundworkers & plumbing contractors
Area to be covered: North (TS, DL, DH, SR, NE, CA & LA) - based North East
Remuneration: GBP38,000-GBP45,000 + GBP10,000-GBP20,000 Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Drainage, Plumbing & Heating will involve:
?? Field sales position, selling our clients manufactured range of below ground drainage, above ground drainage, hot and cold water plastic plumbing and underfloor heating
?? Specification driven role, with a focus on promoting below ground drainage
?? 70% new business role winning specifications with architects, design consultants and private and social housing developers
?? 30% account managing relationships with the main contactors and specialist sub contractors such as groundworkers and plumbing contractors
?? Targeting the private and social housing markets
?? Working in conjunction with an Area Sales Manager responsible for back-selling through plumbers, drainage and builders merchants
?? Tasked with growing the area from 2019 revenue of circa GBP13m+
?? Vacant only available due to current contract field sales team growing from 7 to 11 field sales representatives
?? Conducting one/two CPD presentations per month
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Drainage, Plumbing & Heating with:
?? Proven track record of specification selling in either drainage, plumbing or heating
?? Ideally with a focus on below ground drainage
?? Also open to plumbing and heating specification field sales backgrounds
?? Relationships with architects, design consultants and housebuilders would be welcome
?? New business hunter
?? Trustworthy and reliable
?? Comfortable covering the A1 corridor
?? Strong CPD/ presentation skills
?? Comfortable with CRM system
?? Team player
