We are currently seeking an Internal Account Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Billingham. As an experienced Internal Account Manager you will be responsible for driving sales growth to regular and consistent touch points with necessary contacts in the trade to drive over the counter sales. You will identity project leads, contract trade branches and facilitate hand over to trade BDM to drive growth.
Key responsibilities and duties of this role
- Identify contract branches and facilitate hand over to BDM
- Identify and pro-actively target leads/prospects in the channel
- Organize and present product training as required
- Book & prepare meetings for BDM
- Execute tele-sales strategy in-line with marketing communications/promotions
- Prepare proposals and/or quotations for channel
- Assist with telephone answering as required
- Ensure customers are kept updated on their deliveries including booking in where required
- Drive technology improvement to make department more efficient including CRM etc
The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications
- A proven track record in an internal business development role
- Previous experience of using NetSuite is desirable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Mon-Fri)
