Data Analyst

We are representing Life Sciences organisation based in Cambridge. They are looking for a Data Analyst to join their rapidly expanding team. These roles will involve working extensively with Python, building data pipelines to support extremely large quantities of data from drug development and research. Being able to work collaboratively as part of a large multidisciplinary agile team is essential. The role will give you exposure to Data Science and cutting edge AI tools. This is an incredible opportunity to learn new technologies and play a huge role in developing therapies for long term medical conditions.

Our client is particularly interested in speaking to people with experience in the following:
• Strong programming skills, ideally with Python (Scala and Java also considered)
• Exposure to a range of databases including some of but not limited to: MongoDB, SQLServer,MySQL
• Strong foundations in mathematics / engineering / scientific related disciplines
• Experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industries desirable
• Previous work with ontological data
• Skills working with Structured, semi-structured and unstructured data
