Corporate Solicitor

We have recently been instructed by our client, a Legal 500 National Law Firm, in relation to an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Solicitor to join their team in Leicester. This role offers the opportunity to get exposure to a diverse range of Corporate work including big ticket deals.

About the role

The Corporate team is recognised for the wide range of transactional work it undertakes for clients including multi-national corporations, banks, listed companies, financial institutions and management teams. Daily work of the Corporate Solicitor will include advising and assisting on an extensive range of transactional work including M&As, shareholder agreements, complex group re-organisation, joint venture agreements and private equity investments.

About the person

The successful Corporate Solicitor will be a UK qualified solicitor with ideally at least 2-3 years' experience gained in Corporate matters. That said candidates with less experience are welcome to apply.

The candidate's desired skills and experience include the following:

* The ability to provide advice to clients to a high standard often to tight deadlines;
* A high degree of initiative and the ability to cope in a demanding environment;
* A passion for Corporate law;
* Commercial acumen; and
* Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
