Management Accountant

A leading national medical and nursing organisation, based in Runcorn, are looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to assist them during an extremely busy period.

The Role and Responsibilities of the Management Accountant position will include:

• Responsibility for all Intercompany costs and income elements of the P&L and balance sheets.
• Month end work including preparation and posting of journal entries, account reconciliations, and completion of other ad hoc requests.
• Escalation of reconciling items through appropriate Operations and Corporate channels and supporting resolution process and following up by ensuring the outcome is reflected in the accurate local accounts.
• Development of reporting to support the intercompany costs and income reported on a service by service / cost centre by cost centre basis.
• Production of the monthly flash and final balance sheet consolidation packs.
• Input to the development of a standard Record to Report performance reporting pack for all business areas.
• Provide and present ad hoc reports to key stakeholders as required (Head of Finance, Heads of Operations, Service Managers, Exec team).

The successful individual will;

• Be ideally CIMA / ACCA qualified or QBE and overseas equivalent
• Have strong excel and systems skills
• Prior experience of using an ERP will be beneficial
• Be available at short notice
