Financial Administrator

GBP18,000 - GBP21,000 per annum

Based in Tewkesbury

Permanent Position

The main role of the office assistant and financial administrator is the day to day running of the office in Tewkesbury and being the first point of contact for all those who call into the office. The role therefore includes receiving the telephone calls and visitors to the office, whilst managing the flow of new business from advisers and liaising with providers to ensure a timely and smooth flow of advice from client contact to completion.

The role includes but is not limited to the key duties below, and will develop as a result of being in a small office/business.

Key duties

  • Answering the main incoming telephone line and directing calls appropriately.
  • Making sure we answer clients queries in timely and professional manner
  • Receiving, scanning and allocating the incoming post.
  • Receiving and allocating tasks from the Admin email inbox
  • Managing client appointments in the Director's and mortgage adviser's diary, including travel arrangements where necessary
  • Processing applications, letters of authority and requests for information.
  • Being responsible for new business applications from start to finish, ensuring the back-office systems are updated and all information held is accurate
  • Using the office back office system (database) to enter new business and maintain client information.
  • Ensuring all client information is correct and updating it where necessary
  • General tidiness of the office, ordering of stationery and other office supplies.
  • Preparing portfolio reports and other client information as requested.
  • Supporting other members of the team with admin requests and other administrative duties as required.
